The readings for each Sunday are taken from a Lectionary, whose cycle lasts 3 years. The start of each year is the beginning of Advent. December 2001 to November 2002 is designated year A, December 2002 to November 2003 is designated year B and December 2003 to November 2004 year C - after that it's back to year A again. All the services listed have 2 readings (usually 1 Old & 1 New Testament reading) followed by the Gospel reading - most have a psalm, which we don't usually use.
